Fiction House's first comic book title. Sheena, Queen of the Jungle, appeared in every issue. Other popular features were The Hawk, about a pirate hero created by Will Eisner, that would appear in a total of 74 issues; and Ghost Gallery, an anthology series that featured tales of ghosts and the supernatural, which started in #42 and lasted until the end of the book's run.

A number of prominent comic artists worked on the title, including Jack Kirby, who contributed to the first three issues from his time with the Eisner/Iger studio; Jumbo #1 was his first paid comics work. Will Eisner himself contributed several early covers. Matt Baker's work would appear in the last half of the book's run.
